The waitangi day

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed on 6 February, 1840. It was signed so that the Maori and the Pakeha would agree to live in peace.
Maoris traded food for muskets and other things. They also developed the skill of reading. This and other thing were taught by Christian missionaries.
