Swimming Lesson

All week last week all of the year Six to Eight student went swimming at the G.I pools. If you don’t know what G.I is its short for Glenn Inness. The reason we went swimming is because if you are at sea and
you are in trouble you know how to swim. Also we live in New Zealand and its surrounded by water. When we first arrived we got ready to jump in the shower. Just to make sure that we are clean.

The next thing we done was getting into groups just to show what can you do. My group was with Miss Dempster and the other was with Miss Va’afusuanga. She is a sports teacher.

What I liked about swimming is that after all the hard work we have done Miss Dempster and Miss Va’afusuanga gives us free time.

Values - DLO

Our reading group called kiwi has been learning about Louis Braille. Louis Braille was a Frenchman who stood in an accident when he was three. When he was only fifteen he invented a method of reading for the blind in 1824. Sadly Braille wasn't used in school until he died in 1852.

Creativity Tui

In room22 this term we are learning about creativity. Creativity is all about thinking and using you own imagination. Creativity is the bringing into being of something which did not exist before,either as a product, progress or a though.

My Term1 reflection.

One of the things that I was pleased with my work last term was my Art work.
In my report I received good. I got all good for work habits,behavior and academic progress. I feel a little bit disappointed in my art because I think I can do better.

The thing that I would like to improve in the most this term is my writing. My writing last term was below expectation.I was writing below my standard. This term I am going to try my hardest to stay focus and pay attention to my writing.

I think I done really well last term.Even though I didn't get any Excellent in my report I still think that I can receive an Big Excellent This term if I Pay attention and stay focus.My goal this term is finishing it off properly.
