Room 19 first net ball session

“Contact” yelled the coach. ‘Oops’, I thought, now I have given the ball to the other team. Curses on this game!

Now every Thursday morning Room 19 always have an netball session with Liz. Liz is from the Auckland Netball association.

The first drill Liz taught us was the chest pass. We had to stand on an x or a dot to start with. After that Liz told us to practise the chess past with the person opposite us.

After that we had a little game of netball except there were four corners to score on. The non bibs lost and the bibs won.

It was so fun that I cant wait until our next session, next week.

As part of our learning we are examining data related to our health. The first part of our examination we collected data (information) about the food we ate for one week(2/2 to 9/2).
The graph (or chart) shows how much i ate from six major food groups.

The waitangi day

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed on 6 February, 1840. It was signed so that the Maori and the Pakeha would agree to live in peace.
Maoris traded food for muskets and other things. They also developed the skill of reading. This and other thing were taught by Christian missionaries.
